Rail logistics at UNIKAI
Our terminal has its own railway siding with a length of around 900 metres.
We support the sustainable logistics chain and are able to handle all your goods transported by rail efficiently and reliably, including:
- Containers (all types)
- Vehicles (we can move anything that moves)
- Piece goods (round, square or unpacked)
- Large and small project loads (there’s no such thing as impossible)
Thanks to its direct connection to the Hamburg Süd marshalling yard, Unikai is optimally integrated into Hamburg’s main rail routes. Europe’s largest marshalling yard, Maschen, is only a locomotive’s length away, which enables us to be fast and flexible.
Seamless from ship to rail
In addition to our expertise in receiving goods by rail, we can also load your goods from ship for hinterland transport. We work closely with numerous rail transport companies (RUs) in the Port of Hamburg.
These partnerships ensure seamless handling and high availability of transport capacity. If necessary, trains can be handled around the clock at O´Swaldkai.
Whether it’s large project loads or smaller consignments, we at Unikai are your competent partner for (almost) all rail transport. You can rely on our expertise and our logistics network to get your goods to their destination safely and on time.
Whether you have general enquiries, specific information about our services or individual requests - our team will be happy to help you.
